This was a unique opprotunity to work on the first LEED certified art museum.  With over two years of design and several years of construction this building was completed with simple, clean spaces.  Electrical devices (fire alarm, receptacles, data outlets and lighting control devices) were carefully located to minimize the distraction so that the art is what is seen.  Exit signs and lighting track locations in the gallery spaces were carefully chosen.  Emergency lighting locations was a great challenge.  It had to blend into the overal lighting scheme. This buidling also has a unique mechanical system to provide power to.  The lanterns with motorized louvers to allow or not allow sunlight into the top floor large galleries and motorized shades that were tied into the lighting control system in various rooms. This project required alot of teamwork during design and while under construction to finalize all the details that make the electrical devices basically disappear and become part of the architecture.  LEED Gold Certification was obtained.

WPF Engineering provided electrical construction administration for power and lighting design.  While at Design Plus Amy Zeboor provided power and lighting design for 5,600 SF addition and 1,150 SF remodeling project.  The existing building operations were maintainded during construction.  Construction was completed May, 2007 with total construction cost of $2,139,300.

Theis project included renovations to large lecture room, project research space and office areas.  New project and meeting/classrooms were added.  Upgrade to the main erickson hall entry plaza and canopy.

WPF engineering provided power and lighting design for shell and core of building and site lighting design.  This redevelopment project includes a 3600 sq ft building set up for 5 tenant suites. 

The library will be LEED certified upon completion.  This neighborhood library will provide services to the local residents.  In the facility there is also a community room.  WPF Engineering provided electrical engineering services as well as lighting design services.  The library has an easy to use lighting control system.

Ridge Point Community Church needed to expand into the shell auditorium they had built about four years ago.  Project included the finishing out of the auditorium, A/V edit suites, restrooms, green room and other adjoining rooms.  The electrical system was expanded to accomodate the buildout.  House lighting and lighting for the ajoining spaces was designed by WPF Engineering.  The existing lighting control system and fire alarm system was expanded upon.

Project includes renovation of existing high school and new additions.  New science classrooms and labs, art rooms, kitchen, serving, commons and main concourse.  Renovations of the gym, locker rooms, classrooms and auditorium.  A new power service was brought into the building undergoing a complete electrical system upgrade.  New energy efficient lighting was provided throughout and an economical lighting control system was provided.  Provided guidance of technology (communications cabling, clock system, paging system, classroom A/V systems and telephone additons) by wriiting RFPs in which several contractors were selected for the installation.

Project included a complete face lift for the auditorium, lobby and restrooms.  Worked with client and audio-visual and theatrical ighting consultants to provide a new lighting layout as well as new electrical systems throughout the auditorium and lobby. 

Provided lighting design, communications design and electrical engineering services.  Project involved an addition of classroom spaces, kitchen, dining/gathering area, chapel, choir room and edit suite.  Project also involved the renovation of the existing classroom spaces and converting the courtyard to preschool classrooms.  Lighting systems were updated throughout to decrease maintenance, provide control and reduce energy costs.  Data and telephone network were relocated and cabling throughout facility was updated.
