Description
Wolverine constructed the 5,440 square foot medical office building with spaces supporting outpatient surgery, laboratory and specialized solutions. This project presented a unique challenge due to a detention pond located on the property that was home to waterfowl and other wildlife. The building was constructed in such a manner as to change the pond from a "space eater" into a visually appealing, aesthetic enhancement of the building and the medical practice operating within it.
ABC Award judges awarded this project the 2002 ABC Award of Excellence for Medical/Research Facilities under $2 Million. They quoted the project as having "Excellent workmanship" and being "Very well executed."
