Wolverine Building, Inc. completed the 3rd floor remodel for the Fifth Third Bank Plaza, located at 111 Lyon Street in downtown Grand Rapids.
According to Project Manager, Brandon Hartel, “Interior renovations of a multi story building in a downtown environment are always a challenge; Fifth Third was no exception. Material delivery and trade organization were key, materials needed to be transported in small quantities through tight spaces such as elevators and stair wells. Proper planning helped us to achieve our goal in a timely manner.”
The entire 16,000 square foot 3rd floor was completely gutted and fitted with new offices, lobby, conference rooms, coffee area, and restrooms. The renovation gave Fifth Third a total of 35 new offices around the floors perimeter. The interior holds conference rooms, a new lobby, waiting area, and coffee bar.
