The SignComp project was developed by Robert Grooter’s Development Team and Design/Built by Wolverine Building Group.
The new pre-engineered building includes a 5,000 square foot office area and another 45,000 square feet of warehouse for the manufacturing of frames and extrusion systems. The facility was integrated into the natural site settings; thoughtful consideration went into the landscape design to incorporate the natural hills, trees, and flowers. Higher standards were also seen on the exterior design; custom built eyebrow canopies add an inviting appeal and set off the main entrance. The office area is highlighted with a colonial edging and concave EFIS, which adds variety and dimension to the pre-engineered building.
According to Project Manager, Mike Kelly, “It was a challenging project from two aspects. First the project had to be kept within a tight budget while maintaining a quality look and feel. Secondly the schedule was tight and left no room for error, thankfully we had a dry summer which meant few lost construction days due to weather.”
