Challenge: Create a building that incorporates educational tecnology, allows for growth, and respects the context of its beautiful site while providing a variety of learning environments
- addition to and renovation of a classroom building on the campus of the Masters of Management Program
- learning spaces organized around a central open piazza and cafe
- allows a high level of "connectivity" with ubiquitous technology and connectivity
- state-of-the-art presentation spaces with advanced audio/visual support fully equipped for distance learning
- environmentally friendly, excellent air handling, use of renewable (solar) resources and visual sight lines that connect scenes from the outdoors to classroom spaces
- AIA Grand Valley Sustainable Design Merit Award
