The Calkins Science Center is a mid-rise facility housing lecture halls, labs, offices and a large atrium. Constructed on the downtown campus of Grand Rapids Community College, this challenging project required well coordinated scheduling and careful organization of site staging. Construction materials include concrete, steel, architectural pre-cast panels, and glass curtain wall.
