Surrounded by residential developments, the owner sought an aesthetic look that was respectul of its surroundings yet achieved a strong public presence. This goal was accomplished by using materials such as integral colored masonry, earth-toned roofing tiles, and painted steel accents. Colonnades, canopies, pilasters, and steel columns also were used.
