The concept began with a reaction to the site, and sensitivity to the sharp change in elevation was vital. This encouraged a versatile structural system. In addition, it was essential that this residential project looked to provide spaces that would enrich the variety of activities and experiences taking place inside. The block would become an obvious choice due to it ability to adapt, providing a variety of atmospheres that celebrate the family’s diverse interests. These spaces range from the contemplative quality of a prayer room, to the light and open space of an activity room.
