For many years, Graniterock’s Monterey Peninsula Branch has been a leading supplier of Natural Stone for both commercial and residential projects in the area. Based on input from architects, the concept of a Design Village, complete with outdoor vignettes, came to life. Everyone wanted to be able to see an area complete with variations in stone types, grouting techniques, installations, including Ashlar, Mosaic, Dry Stack and Over-Grout.

In December of 2008, the Design Village officially opened, creating a truly innovative and creative concept. Forget the old sample boards – this is a homeowner's dream complete with Interlocking Pavers, Outdoor Living Environments, Fireplace units, Pizza Ovens, and an Infinity Spa. The customer-inspired showcase is open to the public at all times.
