ERMCO, Inc.
ERMCO, Inc. is partnering with Sachs Electric on several projects for the new Indianapolis International Airport. This massive project includes a new air traffic control tower, new parking garage, as well as the new Midfield Terminal.
The glass-enclosed terminal will include 96 ticketing positions, a Civic Plaza, and an advanced baggage handling and security system. There will be over 500,000 square feet of leased and retail space. The new terminal's 1.2 million square feet will be nearly double the size of the current airport and the parking garage will be one of the largest of its kind providing 7100 spaces.
Work secured by ERMCO and ERMCO/Sachs Joint Venture includes Midfield Terminal, Airport Garage, and Security, Fire Alarm, HVAC and Paging Systems, as well as the Baggage Handling System. ERMCO has already completed work in the new Tower.

Safety Management Group
Safety Management Group provided oversight of the OCIP Safety Program for the Indianapolis Airport's Midfield Terminal Expansion Project. We had a team consisting of three Safety Advisors on the project that successfully provided project safety program development, pre-construction safety assessment, incident response/investigation/meetings, project safety orientation and field safety observation and interaction.
