Grand Haven Area Public Schools High School Athletic Facility

Description

East Muskegon Roofing and Sheet Metal was awarded the roofing contract for the new athletic facilities at Grand Haven High School.  The specified roofing system was a reinforced EPDM (rubber) membrane.  There were a total of 5 different buildings with varying challenges.  Two of the buildings were designed with curved walls.  There were custom metal fabrications for the curved parapet caps and curved canopies.  The Home Press Box roof was arched and elevated, making safety a top concern.  Under the direction of the construction manager, Owen-Ames-Kimball Co, we maintained the schedule and maintained our safety.
