Description

As part of the realignment of M-45, this project consisted of the construction of 2 new bridges (eastbound and westbound) over the Grand River just east of Allendale, in Ottawa County, Michigan.

As a subcontractor to Hardman Construction, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. performed contractor quality control testing, in accordance with the Michigan Department of Transportation’s criteria throughout construction.

Quality control services included on-site testing of concrete provided by local batch plants (slump, air content, temperature, molding compressive strength cylinders, and yield calculations).
