Description

Driesenga & Associates worked with the Architect, Owner and General Contractor to provide support with the site layout for the newly constructed 71,500 square foot, three-story elementary school which was situated on the site of the previously existing Henry Paideia Academy elementary school facility. Site considerations included two surface parking lots, recreational fields and areas, and various surface walks around the facility. The City’s storm run off concerns were appropriately addressed by utilizing various underground storm storage systems. Site design and construction activities were coordinated with the City of Grand Rapids as they reconstructed the three public streets bordering this site. Driesenga’s staff assisted in preparing the site design documents as well as construction staking services.
