Description

Project consisted of multi-phase construction of additions to the Ambulatory Care Unit, Emergency Department, and Critical Care Unit at the existing hospital in order to accommodate the growth of patient needs in the Holland area (approximately 45,000 patients per year).

The combined projects included approximately 133,000 square feet of new construction and 38,600 square feet of renovated areas. In conjunction with the building projects, a helipad was added and a 2-level parking structure was constructed for light vehicle traffic.

Driesenga & Associates provided construction materials testing services (auger-cast pile inspection; testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and structural steel) and construction staking throughout the projects.
