Description

Isabella Bank & Trust is a 4,840 square foot facility with drive thru service located on a 1.2-acre parcel in the remote Canadian Lakes area in Mecosta County.

Driesenga & Associates, Inc. started by completing the boundary and topographic survey as well as the geotechnical engineering and soils investigation.

Due to the close proximity to a lake, the high water table became a concern and was considered in the design of the surface and subsurface storm water system and the building design. Since public water and sanitary sewer services were not available to the site, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. designed the septic system and assisted in acquiring the well and septic permits through the District Health Department #10 of Mecosta County.

Other civil design included site grading and storm water management calculations with approvals through the Mecosta County Drain Commission, and assistance in acquiring the drive permit and soil erosion and sediment control permit.

Following the completion of construction, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. finished a septic system inspection and an as-built plan, as required by the District Health Department #10 of Mecosta County, for final approval.
