Description

The science center project included construction of a 72,000 square foot addition to the Peale Science Center. The combined structures house the departments of biology, chemistry, geological and environmental sciences, nursing and psychology.

Driesenga & Associates performed special inspection/testing services throughout construction of the facility to ensure the facility was constructed in accordance with project specifications and the 2000 Michigan Building Code.

Inspection services consisted of on-site/laboratory testing of soils, concrete, masonry, structural steel, and asphalt.
