Design Plus acted as architect of record, providing architectural interior design, mechanical and electrical design development, construction documents, and construction administration for this new 23,000 SF building that will house Calvin College’s School of Engineering. The facility includes faculty offices, student study space, as well as computer workstations, metal shop, project fabrication and testing areas, and workshops where students are offered the opportunity to create and test projects. The project was completed in 1999 with a total construction cost of $2,250,000.
