Prior to selecting an architect, Georgetown Township hired CSM Group as Construction Manager for its new 88,000-square-foot facility because of CSM's considerable experience with recreational facilities and, in particular, with ice rinks.
The building features two NHL-size ice rinks with an ice plant that serves both rinks, a main entrance/lobby area, pro shop, concessions, skate rental, several meeting rooms, and dedicated team locker rooms with professional-style lockers, coaches' offices, and storage areas.
The facility is constructed of precast concrete wall panels and conventional structural steel, and covered with an EPDM rubber roof.
