Descriptions
Triangle Associates
Grand Valley State University’s football stadium needed key renovations and additions in order to adapt to a changing demand. A new student end-zone section was constructed inside the existing track. A mobile bridge was built over the track to allow access to the end zone during construction. This bridge was removed every day at 2:00pm to allow the Grand Valley Girls Track Team to practice. The entire end-zone seating project was completed and the site restored without any damage to the track and without any cancellations of track practice due to construction. Triangle also built a south entrance and ticket booth. Additional concrete bleacher sections were added at the north and south ends of the existing home bleachers. The entire project was completed in approximately six months, which was on schedule and under budget. The stadium was opened for the first home game of the season.

Summit Landscape was responsible for all turf renovation at the completion of the construction process and also installed all the pea gravel located below the student section of bleachers. Summit installed a grass paver pathway from the main roadway to the south entrance as well.
