When We were first consulted to do preliminary electrical designs to move the Genesis United Methodist Church to their new location in the Old Lacks Industries warehouse building we were skeptical. But once the design teams were in place and the project scope was introduced it became evident that the congregation and facility were going to work out perfectly. Special electrical features to the facility included, a bussed stage lighting system, programmable dimming controls, fire alarm system, Voice/ data and communication systems and a sanctuary sound system.
Classic Engineering
Classic Engineering worked for Grand Rapids Industrial Process Services (GRIPS) on this 21,000 sq. ft. design/build church. The project included a large sanctuary, multiple classrooms and office space. The HVAC system was gas fired packaged roof top units with exposed spiral ductwork in the sanctuary.
