Acoustics By Design

Acoustics By Design was brought in by A.M.D.G. Architects to provide comprehensive acoustical engineering and audio systems design for the 48,000 SF Quest Center at Grand Rapids Christian High School. Our professional engineers modeled the spaces in 3D to predict their reverberation time. We advised on acoustical building features and professional audio systems to optimize the space for a fantastic sports environment. Our design included the 1,800 seat gymnasium, mezzanine, cafeteria, aux gym, wrestling room, and weight room.

Bay Area Specialty Flooring

WOOD FLOORING:  Bay Area Specialty Flooring installed this floor in 2008. Its a ActionThrust I floor with 2 1/4" maple and finished with Bona paints and finishes. A Bona stain was used inside the 3 point lines and at center court to create a unique look.

RUBBER FLOORING: 6000 sq ft of 3/8" thick Rubber Flex Speckled "S" floor by Centaur Floor Systems. Bay Area Specialty Flooring can provide and install a large number of different synthetic and rubber flooring products.

Rockford Construction from Rockford, Michigan was the CM on this project.
