William A. Kibbe & Associates, Inc. provided architectural, structural and civil engineering services for the additions and renovations of the Bay County Medical Care Facility.

The project consisted of two (2) , two-story additions; approximately 4,100 square feet per floor, expansion of the entry, recreation room, and added seating areas for the existing dining room. The new walkway incorporates an in-slab snow melting system to prevent slip and falls. The new wings include alcove areas for family discussions along with sitting areas, located at the end of the new wings.

Special features also include linen alcoves adjacent to resident rooms to assist in the daily housekeeping routine. Basement area provides generous storage for records and maintenance. Mechanical system features a heat recovery system to assist in monthly utility cost.
