Country Inn and Suites located in Grand Rapids Michigan. This 96,274 sq. ft. hotel is located on I-96 and the East Beltline. The hotel has 150 guest rooms, pool, hot tub, exercise rooms, and three large meeting rooms.

Classic Engineering

Classic Engineering provided the plumbing and electrical engineering for this 150-key, five story select service hotel. The project has an indoor pool in the basement, meeting space, arcade, and prep kitchen. The plumbing contractor was K&S Plumbing and the electrical contractor was Swartz Electric.

Acoustics By Design

Acoustics By Design was brought in by The Architectural Group to provide detailed architectural acoustics and room isolation recommendations for the new Country Inn and Suites in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The hotel has 150 guest rooms, pool, hot tub, exercise rooms, and three large meeting rooms. Hotel pools are notorious for having terrible acoustics, but our professional engineers were up for the challenge. A new porous, wall material was added to the pool room ceiling and upper walls.  The treatment is durable, moisture resistant, and aesthetically pleasing, but most importantly, it gives the hotel guests a fantastic acoustical environment for enjoying the pool.
