The Grant Performing Arts Center includes seating for 794, a main lobby, main dressing rooms, renovation to cafeteria space, a scene shop and a sound acoustical door to the stage. Other added facilities include control and ticket booths, parking lots in the front of the building, a new front entrance canopy and a band practice lot.
Acoustics By Design
Acoustics By Design worked with Tower Pinkster Architects to design room acoustics, architectural acoustics, and HVAC noise control for the Fine Arts Center and Lobby at Grant Public Schools. Our detailed analysis and project report for the stage, orchestral section, house seating, and mezzanine seating led to a design that is acoustically ambient and sonically pleasing without detracting from the facility's aesthetics.
