Acoustics By Design worked with Kingscott Associates to consult on comprehensive acoustical consulting services and mechanical noise control for the newly-designed Berkshire Elementary School in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Our staff of professional engineers worked hard to create a pleasing acoustical environment and to ensure the facility would be free from unwanted mechanical noise. The final report included acoustical specifications for the gymnasium, cafeteria, media center, and music suite. Creating a queit acoustical environment and reducing the mechanical noise played a key role in optimizing the environment for learning.
