Stamford Community Health Center is a 13,000 square foot facility built for Optimus Healthcare. The two-story building has a steel frame with masonry and metal siding exterior. It has a flat roof and metal roof with standing seam configuration. The Center provides wellness care to the local community and includes extensive outpatient facilities. The $3.5 million project was completed on schedule and within budget.
As General Contractor, Construction Manager and Design Builder, Viking Construction provided a level of coordination and depth of expertise on the project that sets them apart in the construction industry. The scope of work incorporated pre-construction services, supervision, all site work, building construction and interior fit-out.
Despite encountering rock during excavation, construction was completed in only 12 months thanks to Viking's ability to fast-track the project. The fit-out process ran so smoothly that the facility was operating merely two weeks after the completion of construction.
